The kickoff of the second edition of the International Fair Halieutis was given Wednesday in Agadir, with the participation of several exhibitors, professionals and institutional and private stakeholders, Moroccan and foreign, involved in the fisheries sector and the new fisheries sector.
Placed under the patronage of HM King Mohammed V, the second edition of the Trade Fair (13/17 February) aims, according to its initiators, to accompany the momentum by Halieutis ambitious strategy, led by the supervisory ministry .
The inauguration of this edition has been enhanced by the presence of a strong official delegation, which included the Minister of Agriculture and Marine Fisheries Aziz Akhannouch, Minister of Economy and Finance Nizar Baraka, Minister of Crafts Abdessamad Kayouh and the Minister Delegate to the Minister of the Interior Charki Draiss, and other personalities including elected officials and deputies.
The opening of this exhibition was also punctuated by the presence of a delegation of six African ministers of industry having shared the Atlantic, in this case those of Ghana, Guinea, Namibia, Ivory Coast, Gabon and Cameroon.
Take part in this event some 225 exhibitors from 32 countries and nearly 350 brands and knowing that no less than 60,000 visitors are expected at the Show.
The Exhibition covers an area of 16,000 m2 and is available in the six po to allow better representation of various businesses and markets seafood products.
This is a floating pole and equipment dedicated to shipyards and the various equipment materials of sea fishing, a process recovery and cluster grouping packaging industries and enhancement of seafood, a resource center bringing together producers and institutions contributing to the formation and development the aquaculture sector, as well as the many fishing cooperatives, an international center dedicated to foreign enterprises and institutions of the fisheries sector, a po training bringing together schools and universities specializing in fish business, and those specialized in knowledge of the marine environment as a whole and an institutional pole and sponsors dedicated to public and private institutions involved in the fisheries sector in Morocco, and sponsors of Halieutis Salon 2013.
